Nimal Patrick Almeida, founder and CEO of "Sandama Travels and Tours (Pvt) Ltd". He was born in Kalutara, Sri Lanka in the southwest. He attended secondary school at the prestigious St. Joseph's College, Colombo 10 and D.S. Senanayake College , Colombo 07 , Sri Lanka.

He left Sri Lanka to work in Rome, Italy. He obtained a Diploma in Hotel Management in Rome’s semi-government school (SIST). After completing the diploma, He began working as receptionist at the four star Hotel Ergife Palace (Via Aurelia 619, 00165, Rome). During the Soccer World Cup of 1990 (ITALIA ’90), he moved to the five star deluxe Grand Hotel de La Minerve (Piazza della Minerva, 69, 00186, Rome) where he was employed until 2009. At that point, he decided to move home to Sri Lanka to be with his wife, son, and daughter.

While back in Sri Lanka, he completed a course with the National Tourist Guide and successfully sought the approval of the Sri Lanka Tourist Board. He began work at several minor travel agencies, freelancing as a tour guide. These experiences gave him the capability he needed to understand the needs of tourists as they travel and sightsee.

Having returned to Rome, he began work at the prestigious Hotel Nazionale (Piazza del Monte Citorio, 131, 00186, Rome) next to the Italian Parliament building, where he won the hearts and friendship of many clients from all over the world. With knowledge, experience, and a desire to serve, he now opened his own agency where he can serve tourists and clients with the best hospitality Sri Lanka has to offer.
